Shawn, MyIT is interesting all around. There's a lot of hype and marketing behind it but aside from some well scripted demo's, I haven't seen it in action. I've tried to get more involved with it but it seems that if you're not a BMC partner, that's close to impossible (they aren't taking any new partners so I'm pretty much done). Anyway, as for MyIT, it seems to me that you have to be very mature in all of your processes surrounding ITSM for this to be considered. Service Catalog, SLM, CMDB, Asset, etc... all those things need to be in place as building blocks. Like you, I agree that it is an interesting concept, but aside from BMC and some select partners, not sure who can actually implement it.
