I am about to start implementing the AR Email engine for a custom set of apps and I have two things I am trying to tackle, one is how can I track and hopefully report on bounced back emails. We want to poll the inbox to get any Non-Deliverable reports and save them so that someone can go and fix the data. I can poll the inbox and save the incoming email, I am thinking the best way to do this would be to add filters to the AR System Email Messages form to add those to a separate form to report form.
The second item is a way to handle giving an external customer the ability to opt out of receiving email notifications, I am thinking that in the email footer (using HTML formatted messages) give a link that would generate an email submit message to create a record containing the email address and the email type that I could then go and change the subscriptions for that user.
