Hi Neha, BMC has created Overlay concept to preserve customizations during version upgrade. So now if you want to modify any OOTB functionality, just create the overlay of existing object (right click object and choose create overlay). Since during upgrade, installer will modify only base objects and overlay will remain unchanged, so your customization will remain in the system.
