Ran into a issue this week and here is the problem and resolution Problem ::
ARS 8.1.01 -- attempting to apply ARS patch 001 and it will not work.. it says no product selected and fails. It worked on another system... The P001 SRM, and Atrium did work... however Solution:: ENV variable not in system -- BMC_AR_SYSTEM_HOME = PATH-TO-ARSYSTEM folder Patch runs... Potential Fix action if this does not work:: Copy ARSystemInstalledConfiguration.xml file from a working server and replace same file on the non-working server. Modify the file with the correct server name entries.
