Seems like we could all meet somewhere cheaper, put on our own "event" off
the cuff, and get a better value.  Oh, wait.  We used to do that, and it
was pretty good.

Unless I am seriously misreading this schedule/agenda, I can't imagine even
wanting to ask to go.  Has v1.0 written all over it.
