Jayesh, What LJ and others are saying is backward compatibility. You mentioned using the 8.0 dev studio against 8.1.01. That would be considered a future version and probably why you are seeing issues. Obviously, some features in a later version of dev studio would be unavailable against an earlier version of the ARS platform because those features are only available in a later version. It's like a car... You can take a v8 engine and somehow fit it under the good of a honda civic, but unless you change the headers, intake, transmission etc.. You're still getting the performance of a 4 banger. :)
