Hi Aedrian, Can you please refer https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/public/itsm81/Configuring+Oracle+databases<Configuring+Oracle+databases>
And https://docs.bmc.com/docs/display/public/itsm81/Installing+the+BMC+Remedy+ITSM+Suite+Preconfigured+Stack In your case we would recommend you to review Oracle Configuration as provided by BMC. Let us know the results. NOTE : #For 8.1 ITSM and Oracle 11g we observed installer hanging once. #ORACLE Bug ID is: 13017584 The workaround for hang issue is to make use of Special Oracle parameters for "_use_zero_copy_io=false". Define this parameter in init.ora file for the instance and restart DB. (You can find this file under <DB HOME>\database directory. Generally this file is named as "init<ORACLE_SID>.ora".) (Screenshot attached) I can see that it was able to create only the ACTLINK table, nothing after that. DB sessions are all inactive. Even the C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Temp\ARSystemDBImport.log does not contain anything. Appreciate any help you can provide.
