Clemence, MSG format is something that Microsoft creates...so, in order to turn text into a msg format, you will either need to push it through a Microsoft product (Outlook), or use some other software to create the file...I did a quick search on 'perl create msg file' and this was the first return http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=946708 Once you have the msg file, you can use Remedy to attach it wherever you want.
