Doesn't the Java API wrap the C API as well at the heart of it?  I saw the
response about utilizing the Java API but I *thought* that meant that they
had advertised WSDL pieces and was leveraging something like a SOAP call.
I've used the Java API as well (actually had to write a LoginServlet
extension using it as well) but it's no where near as user friendly as the
ARSPerl module is.
