Hi,
data/db is the one used for derby.
The rest of the data folder is used for internal repository state management
and mainly for indexing, and sometimes tmp files.
Index size can change dynamically as the indexer thread merges indexes in
the background.
The overall size of indexes has also been reduced in the upcoming release.
