Hi,

A couple of questions:
- What is the current max heap size your are using? (make sure the out of
memory exception is about the heap size not perm gen)
- Are you backing up to a zip archive - if yes, try to turn zip archiving
off since its memory and CPU intensive.
- What is the biggest artifact size you store in your repository?

If you used the install script to install Artifactory you can change the max
heap size by editing the JAVA_OPTIONS var in /etc/artifactory/default.
Otherwise, you may change it directly in
$ARTIFACTORY_HOME/bin/artifactory.sh

Hope that helps,

Yoav
