Hello Tranquil,

When deploying with maven,  there is no way to avoid the "<servers>" tag in
settings.xml and maintaining the deployer credentials - if you want to
have the data about the deployer per artifact, you'll have to create a user
with deploy permission for each developer (or share a deployer user, which
is not optimal).

Artifactory's UI, however, provides the server snippet for each logged-in
developer to include in his settings.xml.
