I've been prototyping an Artifactory repository here, mostly in conjunction 
with ivy.   I've looked at the security configuration and found it a little 
hard to use.   It seems as though configuring it to work with LDAP ought to be 
trivial.  But it will involve more cooperation from the local system 
administrators than I've been able to get, so far.

In contrast, Hudson has set up nicely.  The difference is whether detailed 
configuration of LDAP is required, or whether one can use the simple-minded

I wonder whether the Artifactory folks consider a closer integration with the 
ADSI?   It certainly has advantages for some people.
