Hello, I'm new to Artifactory (version 2.2.1). Initially I set it up without issue and connected via m2eclipse ver 0.98.xxx running in Eclipse Galileo SR1 to existing maven projects. Everything seemed fine.
Then a new developer came on the team and installed Eclipse Galileo SR2 with the latest version of m2eclipse "Maven Integration for Eclipse version 0.10.0", the older version is no longer available. BTW the newer version seems to have been released just recently. With the newer version of m2eclipse, we are getting error messages stating... 3/4/10 11:39:13 AM EST: Updating index snapshots|http://computer.companyname.org:8081/artifactory/plugins-snapshots 3/4/10 11:39:14 AM EST: Unable to update index for central|http://computer.companyname.org:8081/artifactory/libs-releases: Resource nexus-maven-repository-index.properties does not exist I've set Artifactory to index all repostories, local, caches, and virtual. I can browse to the Virtual Repository location (http://computer.companyname.org:8081/artifactory/libs-releases/.index/) and it shows the index files nexus-maven-repository-index.gz and nexus-maven-repository-index.properties, however when you try to click on them you get a file not found error (HTTP ERROR 404). I'm not 100% sure that this is the issue with m2eclipse. Should m2eclipse latest 0.10.0 work with Artifactory virtual repositories? Would a work around be to have my settings.xml file address the actual caches instead of the virtual repositories? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've searched around the web and can't find any guidance.
