I set up a repository which has read access protected by password (only users from given group can download artifacts). From Artifactory web application point of view it works fine, but Maven client (tested with 2.2.1) doesn't download artifacts (404 Not Found) even if there is password provided for that server (like for deploy). Is it possible to force Maven client to send user/password to that repository even for read access to be able to fetch protected artifacts?
