Anyway I have figured it out, it wasnt that hard, something about the policy of releases and snapshots which should be set in the preferences properly. The only thing i found really crazy was that I had to sniff the error message with Wireshark(!!) because Grails wouldn't show me the HTTP-Reply except for a 409 which is not that much of a help.
