Hello,

We switched recently from Maven 2 to 3 and now we're having problems getting
plugins from the repository. We're using artifactory 2.3.3.1, Jenkins
1.4.1.2, and Maven 3.0.3.

The jenkins build job has lines like this for each required plugin:

Downloading: http://<our
server>/artifactory/null/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-metadata.xml

If you take the url and replace 'null' with 'repo', it works fine. We didn't
see this behavior with Maven 2 and it only shows up with plugins. I know
Maven 3 changed how it handled plugin repositories, but I'm not sure where
our problem is.

Our artifactory config is pretty basic. I've tried to upload our config
file. http://forums.jfrog.org/file/n6450926/artifactory.config.latest.xml
artifactory.config.latest.xml

If you enter the url for the plugins-releases virtual repo, it re-routes to
plugins-releases-local. Can you suggest what we've got configured
incorrectly?

Thanks
