Hi Jerry,
Version 3 does not have a standalone index you could delete.
Upon the deletion the space does not freed because of deduplicated storage.
Since the same physical file might refer to multiple paths, deleting one of
them shouldn't trigger the deletion of the real file (since other paths
might still exist). The actuall file deletion happens during the next
garbage collection, which runs by default every 4 hours. You can change the
schedule and run it manually in the maintenance page of the admin tab.
