So the quick questions first and background after.

When you import a repositories, is it additive or does it replace the existing
content?
Is that true for selecting import all repositories?
What happens if you import all from a directory that doesn't include all
repositories?

Background - we are trying to upgrade our Artifactory form 2.6.4 to the latest
verison and from default derby to mysql.

I ran into a problem in that I couldn't run a full backup without running into
a GC out of memory and missing files

Then when exporting individual repositories it couldn't find specific
libraries. We started to run a consistency check, but it looked like it was
going to take 4 days to finish!

So now the intention is to export/import as many repositories as possible.
Remove those repositories from old Artifactory
Link old Artifactory as an external cache, so that developers can continue to
use it, whilst we sort out the problems.

I started importing repositories individually and wondered if it was faster to
do them all at once, even though I didn't have a complete set, but then was
concerned about losing what I had already done.

Thanks,

Dan
