This is frustrating. I want the ivy descriptor and whatever artifact I upload to get into a IVY-Format Artifactory repo. The best I can get is a file uploaded but no ivy descriptor. Wasted most of the day on this and I have gone through the "gradle-example-publish" and reading the manual and all of that. These are not Java based projects anyway.
I am trying to use the Gradle Artifactory plugin in Gradle for non-Java, non-Maven examples. The reqular ivy-publish plugin seems to be a lot simpler and I may just switch to that if I can't get this thing to work. If someone could show me how to upload a simple single file, anything, just something that did not come from a Maven or Java build, I'd be happy.
