We've enabled RubyGems remote repository following the documentation, but
we're seeing errors fetching the remote gems. The metadata is there, as
evident by the fact that gem search returns the right results. However, gem
install is not working.
$ gem install compass
ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'compass' (=>0 ), here is why:
Unable to download data from
http://artifactory.example.com:8081/artifactory/api/gems/ruby-gems/ - too
many connection resets
(http://artifactory.example.com:8081/artifactory/api/gems/ruby-gems/quick/Marshal.4.8/compass-1.0.3.gemspec.rz)
ERROR: Possible alternatives: compass
What could cause the "too many connection resets" issue here?
If anyone has any pointers or ideas to try, it would be greatly appreciated.
We are evaluating Artifactory Pro in our organization, and access to remote
RubyGems is an essential part of the evaluation. Thanks.
