Hi Thomas,

in earlier Artifactory versions, "repo" was a virtual repo which always existed
and included all repos. It was deprecated because there's no way to control
what's included. You could re-create such a repo yourself, and keep adding
repos to it until your builds work. Alternatively you might be able to write
some kind of "patch" script for your build which replaces references to that
repo with references to some new virtual repo you create.

Hope that helps,

Subject: [Artifactory-users] Virtual repository not found on the migrated
instance

Hi,
I recently migrated our Artifactory instance to a new server by using the
system export method. The version was upgraded also during this migration, from
Artifactory 3.3.0 (rev. 30104) to Artifactory OSS 4.1.3 rev 40020. The new
instance works fine but ran into an issue recently.

There is a virtual repository "repo" on the old server and that is not found on
the new instance. There are references to this repo in some build configs and
wonder how could this be recreated or the definitions be migrated over.

Thomas
