Role – Senior MicroStrategy Dashboard Developer
Location – RI [partial onsite then remote]
Start – November 4th
Duration – 10 weeks
Client Project – Client is building a next-generation Analytics
environment. Part of that involves replacing Excel-based reports with
MicroStrategy reports - the preferred BI platform for this particular
team at client. This Phase 1 of a much larger Phase 2 in 2014 and is
effectively a paid sales engagement to POC the new Analytics environment
from start to finish.
Deliverables - MicroStrategy Sales Leadership Dashboard
Self-Serve Sales Dashboard ver. 1.0 with parameterized inputs
Conduct 2-3 User Experience (UX) Dashboard Design Sessions with key
stakeholders
Create graphic mockup of proposed dashboard tiles (portlets)
Create and populate 3-4 Sales dashboard tiles/portlets illustrating
drill-down capability and drop-down parameters:
Develop test plans and test cases for unit testing
Execute unit test cases
Log defects
Fix defects and re-test
Release code
Participate in the UAT phase.
Work closely with CVS UAT test team during testing
Fix defects
