*PROJECT MANAGER*

*Irving, TX*

*Rates: Up to $50/hr*

 A strong project manager is needed to handle small to large scale projects
and assignments within a fast paced environment for a large utilities
client.  The candidate must be able to quickly react to changing
priorities, effectively lead diverse on/offshore, multi-vendor structured
teams, and be able to translate business needs into technical solutions
using a wide array of technologies.  This project manager must have a keen
ability to solve issues and problems and be able to succinctly articulate
project status, issues and risks to a broad audience of business users and
project stakeholders.
*             Excellent Project Management Skills
*             Ability to lead large scale projects including new software
deployment, enhancements and upgrades
*             Strong written and verbal communication skills, critical
thinking and organizational skills
*             Ability to multi-task, re-prioritize and quickly react to
dynamic business priorities
*             Innovative, problem solver and solutions oriented

8+ years of project/program management experience
Manages multiple projects or a major program
B.S in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent
 PMP Certified (or equivalent)
Highly experienced managing program forecasts/financials, status, risk
ITIL Certfied (preferred)
Ability to collaborate well across multiple teams and business functions
 PPM/MS Project (preferred)
Ability to work in a global/outsourced/fast-paced environment
 Proficient with Excel/Powerpoint
Outstanding communications skills, particularly presentation skills to
Senior Management
Participates in meetings with Client Stakeholders, Application Managers and
technical support team to identify and specify system requirements and will
be involved in the project
Follow project change control guidelines, identify defects, track project
estimates, track deliverables identify risks and issues. Manage
relationship with vendor for implementation in organization's environment.
This position requires direct contact with the end users, IT staff and
internal team members.  Remote contact to offshore team members and
Infrastructrure Management, DBA and Help Desk is also required. High level
of problem solving skills to handle complex  software and interface support
issues.  Working quickly and efficently  to coordinate analysis and
solutioning with other Capgemini team members, clients and external vendor
 he sucessful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering
application support services with regard to SLO. Contributes to overall
results as a team members.
