Will need to communicate directly with business and IT personnel. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction. Application Analyst in IBM Mainframe applications. Strong Cobol JCL developer with business analysis skills that can analyze, design, develop, and document processes. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Past experience in documenting system flow and functionality. Experience using Visio. Strong development skills in Cobol, JCL, Syncsort and DB2. Recent experience performing analysis, designing solutions, and developing solutions. Experience using Expediter. Experience creating test plans and test cases along with performing unit and system testing. Experience working with DB2 databases. Knowledge of IBM Optim helpful. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with both business and IT personnel. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
