PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides enterprise data warehousing solutions, with a focus on hands-on design and development of ETL processes using Informatica version 8.6. - Extracts and moves data to databases, data marts and data warehouses, organizing and grouping information for ease of use. Defines and captures metadata and rules associated with ETL processes. Creates Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and provides in-depth understanding of data model(s). Plans and document test procedures. Performs design and coding walkthroughs. - Adapts ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements. Extracts data from outside sources, transforms data to fit operational needs and loads data to end target, including databases, data marts and data warehouses. Ensures data integrity and compliance with development and documentation standards by performing data cleansing, audit and validation. - Participates in ETL design and development efforts, providing work estimates, performing code reviews, reporting project status and leading projects. Creates related documentation. - Collaborates with other technology team members and internal customers to define customer requirements, assess available technologies and develop and present solutions. - Provides high level of customer service, partnering with end-users in the resolution of issues or deployment of enhancements. - Provides training in ETL processes and procedures as needed. - Performs other duties as required.
