Please find the below requirement let me know you’re interested. *Job Title: Oracle DBA Lead * *Location: Baltimore area or the DC area. * *Duration: 12 Months* *Period of Performance* *Project Scope:* Seller shall provide support services, to be performed by an Information Technology Professional with knowledge of and expertise in database administration, that include, but are not limited to, the following primary duties: a) Will work as a specialist on the team to support system optimization, research and problem resolution for production issues that are database related. b) Will provide Oracle subject matter expert and trusted advisor who facilitates the many facets of Oracle DBMS implementation, and usage. c) Perform a wide range of Oracle focused technical tasks ranging from initial configuration to advanced operations. d) Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution for Oracle related issues. e) Develop and maintain build books. f) Support VM Virtualized environments and installations of Databases. g) Interaction with Partners and customers. *Project Deliverables:* a) Program Status Report –A Monthly Program Status Report will be submitted and include such items as accomplishments, issues, customer meetings, key milestone events, planned tasking for the next month, upcoming events, planned PTO, etc. This report is due 10 calendar days after calendar month end, as requested by the NGS Technical Manager. b) Ad Hoc Reports. c) The successful implementation and system optimization of the database environments while working with partners and customers and providing solutions/resolutions for technical issues. *Project Acceptance:* Service delivery for all database projects and initiatives is met. This delivery shall include: a) Providing subject matter expertise and recommendations for improving database structure b) Working with the application development team to push incremental changes to DEV/TEST environments and supporting backups/restores at multiple stages of testing c) Supporting the creation of complex queries to generate reports for CMS to provide them with insight into Approved, In-Process and Terminated customers as well as Agent Brokers who are helping small Businesses for each states. d) Ensuring that database uptime and performance is maintained in accordance with Service Level Agreements. e) Ensuring that database architecture meets all ARS audit requirements. f) Completion of the configuration and performance testing of all Oracle/Exadata environments. *Qualifications:* Requires BS/BA degree in computer science or information systems 10 or more years of information systems experience including 10 or more years of database administration experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 10+ years overall experience with Oracle. Experience with Operating System and hardware including platform knowledge required. Experience with Oracle Exadata required. Develop and execution of database security policies, procedures and auditing-experience with database authentication methods, authorization methods, and data encryption techniques. Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of database tuning, software configuration, memory usage, data access, data manipulation, SQL, and physical storage.
