Position: Citrix Admin/Engineer *Location: Dallas, TX*
*Duration: 6 Months+* *Pay Rate: $35-40/hr all inclusive * *Interview process will be phone and then in person or Skype* *Summary:* This position provides application support for Citrix projects. 70% Administration, 30% engineer. *Responsibilities:* · Provides high level support for the roll out of Citrix through the company. · Manages, administers, and maintains Citrix server environment, Citrix XenApp and supporting software, and Windows Server Operating System (OS). · Administers file systems and directory structure associated with the Citrix environment. · Builds, configures, and supports the Citrix servers and related hardware. · Configures security setting web and applications servers to prevent unauthorized access and limit vulnerabilities. · Manages, troubleshoots, and supports Citrix environment. · Documents all application installations, configurations, and processes as appropriate · Performs in-depth problem troubleshooting analysis and resolution of complex hardware, OS, and applications. *Required Skills:* · 7-10 years of IT experience · Minimum 5+ years of recent Citrix experience · Minimum 4 years of hands-on Citrix XenApp 6.X or higher experience · Within Citrix XenApp 6.X, and above, must understand and possess hands-on experience with *XenApp software*, Web Interface, Secure Gateway, STA, Secure Access Manager, Password Manager, and Installation Manager. · Experience deploying and supporting large scale Citrix environments and experience with managing multiple Citrix Farms. · Experience with scripting (VBSCRIPT, Kixx, C++) · Experience with server deployment, maintenance, and management of software applications, and support tools · Proficient use of debugging, analytical, and monitoring tools Within the MS Windows 2003 Server. · Must possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of WINS, DNS, GPO's, and Active Directory. · A minimum of 3 years experience that shows an in-depth experience of Windows 2008 R2 Server · A minimum of 4 years experience with VMWare vSphere 4.x. · Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position.
