Must be onsite in Dallas, TX This role will be focused on F5 load balancing. Daily tasks will include working with customers and fulfilling requests, making configurations or changes based on these requests, and troubleshooting. Critical Skills Demonstrated aptitude and ability for logical and abstract thinking. Ability to perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development, and implementation. Ability to analyze and resolve problems of medium to high sized complexity. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based, Customer service oriented environment. Excellent partnering, negotiation and communication skills. Minimum 4 years experience administering and troubleshooting F5 Load Balancers. Experience with F5 Load balancing specifically: LTM and GTM Expert knowledge of current IOS software, protocols, and standards Hands on experience with copper and fiber-based connectivity Networking Engineering Assist in installation, customization, development, implementation and maintenance of network systems developed internally and/or in conjunction with an outside vendor Assist in evaluating and recommending emerging networking technologies. Assist project teams/business Customers in evaluating, developing, implementing and supporting network architecture components. Design cost effective network solutions that support business needs. Production Support Will be required to carry / respond promptly to an on-call pager on a rotating basis with other System Engineers. Responsible for immediate response to Network problems. Demonstrated understanding of root cause analysis procedures. Provide technical problem resolution for complex problems without assistance. Problem Solving Analyze and resolve problems of medium to high complexity. Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
