Utilizes knowledge and practical experience and exercises judgment in completing assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Job requires some technical decision making for planning and implementation. Receive general instructions and best practices from team lead on routine work and more detailed instructions from project assignments. Follow detailed schedules and work assignments from supervisor who reviews adherence to and awareness of overall program performance, schedule and quality standards. *Principal Responsibilities.* You will develop awesome customer experiences on our Support Web Portal requiring advanced experience in the application of the latest Web technologies and tools. Assist in the rollout of new applications, problem fixes, and enhancements of software. · Apply extensive experience on Web based application design using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (Bootstrap, HandleBars, Angular), AJAX, REST/SOAP API, and template scripting, and participate in the conceptual design of proposed projects. Participate in Agile-based project development life cycle from planning and design to delivery for new applications or enhancements. Completes work assignments and performs appropriate follow up to ensure that tasks are completed on time. · Collaborate with product owners, designer and software engineers to analyze requirements, define the scope of work, performs estimation of work effort, provides recommendations for the solutions and develop web application in a professional manner. · Utilize professional experience in the development of wireframe, prototype, specifications and alternative solutions; makes sure coding and file structure comply enterprise’s best practices and W3C’s coding standards. · Create or integrate 3rd party applications on top of the Web Content Management System (e.g. WordPress, Adobe AEM, Salesforce…). · Conduct self-test and peer code review to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of developed and enhanced websites and applications. Creates consistent and accurate technical and end-user documentation of implemented applications. · Maintain the accuracy of the contents and the stability of the website. Takes responsibility when problems are identified and initiates actions that result in high-quality solutions. *Knowledge and skills:* - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science (related field is preferred); equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education. - 5 years of Web application development experience. Strong Web development experience and hands-on skills on Web site development using HTML, Strong JavaScript required, (DOM) Document object model CSS, AJAX, JQuery, Bootstrap or other JavaScript frameworks. Able to build a website without using WYSIWYG Web development tools. - Strong Bootstrap 3.0 hands-on experience required. Big plus if you have experience with HandleBars or AngularJS experience. - Working experience with SOAP and REST APIs is required - Previous experience working in AWS infrastructure is big plus. - 2 years of experience building dynamic web sites based on PHP or JSP and MySQL. Basic knowledge of server-side scripting. - Proficiency in W3C Web standard on HTML, CSS. - Knowledge of Software Engineering Process and Agile project development flow. Ability to adhere to a disciplined work schedule; follow directions from a supervisor; understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. - Experienced in creating templates on content management systems (e.g. BrightSpot, Word Press, Drupal, Adobe CQ).
