If you are interested kindly send updated resume to [email protected] Title: PeopleSoft Consultant Location: New York City, NY Duration: 6 Months *Description:* This position will employ various technologies to support existing and develop new technical solutions within the Corporate Business Technology Solutions area. This group is responsible for a range of enterprise-wide solutions – both package and custom applications supporting various business segments including Finance, Security, Compliance and Regulatory. This position will provide support, conduct analysis and development work on various customizations based on client requirements. Candidate will primarily work with PeopleSoft Financials modules - AP, GL, AM, PO, ePro. Minimum Requirements: Experience: § At least 5+ years of PeopleSoft application development experience. § Possess strong PeopleSoft technical knowledge with a focused perspective on business functions. § Prior Technical Lead experience on PeopleSoft Application and Tools Upgrade projects § Ability to communicate and collaborate with different IT teams on project work and issue resolution § Work in a functional/technical capacity providing technical and functional expertise to business and various IT Teams § Lead PeopleSoft development team of employees and consultants with analysis, design, development and testing support. § New process/code development; custom enhancements to existing code, application patches/fixes/upgrades. § Data and/or process analysis; code documentation; performance tuning; enhancements, code reviews. § Creation and review of Technical Designs; unit testing; bundling/un-bundling of code using PeopleTools 8.51 , DB2 UDB 9.x , AIX and Windows Platforms. The following environments/tools/languages are required: § Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, XML Publisher § SQL, SQR, Component Interface The following environments/tools/languages are desirable: § Working knowledge of UDB and Unix (AIX) § Shell Scripting § Java § Javascript § HTML § Toad § Informatica Database Requirements: § Strong knowledge required with relational databases including seven plus years’ experience with SQL. § Extensive experience with RDBMS’s specifically UDB 9.x or later Project Management § 2 years’ experience managing small to midsize projects Other § Experience performing code reviews with junior staff members, conducting design sessions and developing best practices § Experience working with business owners on gathering and documenting requirements. § Good understanding of packaged software paradigm, specifically PeopleSoft § Previous experience with Financials modules would be a big plus § Good understanding of the technology stack as applies to PeopleSoft – both software and hardware levels Communication: § Excellent verbal and written communication skills § Must work well with non-technical contacts to ensure business requirements are satisfied § Experience documenting detail design specifications and adherence to methodology Background: § Proven technical lead that is comfortable with both development and production support roles. § Work with integrating and supporting vendor packages implementations highly desirable.
