Position provides the opportunity to work with the Mossville Engine Center (MEC) Web Applications Team on the J2EE platform to develop/support Java Web applications. This database application developer position will be responsible for developing/supporting Oracle databases for critical Java Web applications related to regulatory certification programs. Candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures and Packages, and Reports to support the Java Web development team. The applicant needs to be a results oriented team player willing to work on sometimes tight schedules. Required Qualifications: * Relevant degree or equivalent experience. * 5 years US based experience in developing application related databases * Oracle 11+ * PL/ SQL * Stored Procedures and Packages * Excellent analysis and problem solving skills * Must be fluent in English Desired Qualifications: * Oracle PL/ SQL Developer Certification * 3-5 years Java Web Development Experience * Awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle * Hibernate 2+ On-site technical interview is a condition for the position after a satisfactory phone screen. *Position's Contributions to Work Group:* Senior technical Oracle application Developer. *Typical Day:* Oracle application development, support of Emissions application suite *Critical Technical Skills:* 1.
