Project Manager/PeopleSoft HCM Location - Lennar - Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Duration- 1 year+ Visa- EAD,GC,USC no h1b We are in need of a senior (8 years+) *Project Manager with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience, Ideally, PeopleSoft HCM*. They would like a PMP certified PM who has been through at least two full, HR/Payroll/Talent acquisition implementations. This is a phone and Skype to hire. I know the rate is not great but it is what it is. There may be a little flexibility in rate for the right candidate but not much due to the VMS. *Please only send me candidates with experience managing HR/Payroll or Talent acquisition implementation projects. Candidates in Florida are a big plus.* *Managers Notes* PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 for payroll and human resource management preferred Minimum 5 years of experience with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience. PMP certification preferred. Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM or other HR/Payroll application required. *Position Summary: * This position will lead Lennar’s team working with the system integrator to replace Lennar’s PeopleSoft Human Resource and Payroll system during the implementation and deployment efforts of a new solution. In addition Lennar is looking to make improvements with Taleo, Lennar’s Talent Acquisition solution. Work will involve the coordination of activities with business and technical stakeholders and the system integrators for both of these projects. The project manager will ensure work is completed on schedule and that the final product meets the business, technical, quality and contractual requirements. This position will predominantly work out of Lennar’s Office location in Sunrise, Florida, but will also spend a significant amount of time at the Miami Office. Lennar is currently using PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 for payroll and human resource management. While support for this version has been extended until January 2018, after September 2017 Oracle will not be providing any fixes or tax updates. Lennar is making a final decision if the software product will be Workday Cloud Solution or PeopleSoft HCM Cloud. For Talen Acquisition, Lennar is using Oracle’s Taleo Cloud Service. *Primary Duties:* - Manage the planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation project effort. - Be conversant with all contractual details and ensure vendor compliance throughout all phases of the project. - Review, approve and ensure all changes to program scope are documented and follow approved change control processes. - Ensure detail review of deliverables for quality, technical accuracy and requirements compliance. - Manage and coordinate all Lennar activities. - Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure work progress is on schedule and any change orders are required, justified, approved, and reasonable. - Prepare detailed status reports which accurately report progress and highlight issue and risk items for review and escalation. - Coordinate and communicate work with all team members and related teams in accordance with project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests target dates, and approved executable work packages. - Build and maintain relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and contractor representatives. - Identify risks and issues and proactively address them. - Lead and conduct meetings in accordance with high professional standards and effectiveness. - Protect the Lennar’s best interests in all work managed and performed. *Knowledge and Experience Requirements:* · Minimum 8 years Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project Management experience. · Minimum 5 years of experience with large-scale Payroll, HR and/or Talent Acquisition application experience. · Minimum two (2) full lifecycle Payroll/HR or Talent Acquisition implementation projects from vendor selection and requirements definition through implementation. · Minimum 5 years hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office products including MS-Project and Visio. · Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills. · Experience with management of large software implementation projects. · Experience with process improvement and procedures. · Proven strong organizational skills. · Proven experience managing a large project team. *Formal Education & Certification* · B.S Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or IT discipline. · PMP certification preferred. · Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM or other HR/Payroll application required. · Advance proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS-Project) *Personal Attributes* · Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. · Reacts to assignment adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. · Flexible during times of change. · Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines. · Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating. · Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. · Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise. · Ability to bring project to successful completion through organizational dynamics. · Strong written and oral communication skills. · Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets · Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products – strong analytics skills. · Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. · Strong Customer service skills and focus required. · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. · Tenacious, driven, energetic and a high degree of professional integrity. *Skills Required:* · Strong knowledge of functions and industry trends · Strong relationship building, influencing and communication skills · Broad technical aptitude and knowledge *Physical Requirements:* Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office. Also requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry items that are less than 50 pounds. Finger dexterity required in operating a computer keyboard and a calculator.
