*Location: *Wilmington, DE *Duration: *12+month Contract *VISA status* : Any visa except H1B’s *MOI: *Phone/ skype *Pay rate*: DOE client, a global, innovation-driven, integrated pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical company has a need for a Big Data Architect for a 12 month contract opportunity. *Responsibilities:* · Define data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects. Requirements: · Pharmaceutical Experience (Sales & Marketing) · Experience in Enterprise-wide data modeling and database design within Big Data. · Proficient in business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design, Database Management Systems optimization, recovery strategy and load strategy design and implementation. · Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts. · Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. · 7 to 10 years of experience with large and complex database management systems. · Experienced Defining and planning database architectures for enterprise systems. · Experienced leading multiple projects and providing subject matter expertise. · Experienced Working on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. · Demonstrated ability to Coach and mentor more junior technical staff.
