Werner

I know you have made noise about this in the past, but this is
really unacceptable. I guess this would fall into one of my
previously-stated aims, to have APartners live up to the agreement.
There is going to be a day of reckoning soon. It is tragic that the
current council does not have someone in charge of monitoring what
is going on with these buildings. It has to stop. I guess I will add
this issue to raise the soapbox I am on (according to TD) a little
higher. There are so many things awry here that one does not no
where to start. I know you feel that you have been marginalized in
this regard, but you must keep up the fight on this issue. Is there
no one at the state level to report these violations? We need a city
council that will draw the line in the sand. As bad as the
redevelopment agreement is, we are not even getting what was
bargained for. This has to become a big issue. We need CH and the
Casino saved and restored sooner than later. It has to become clear
that there will be no approvals to other subdevelopers until
cohesive restoration plans (with financial guarantees and strict
schedules)are in place. If APartners still drags its feet, DEFAULT
option should be persued despite what TD says. A club is of no good
if the other guy knows you will not use it. We need a council that
is not afraid to pull the trigger.
