a lot of people will arguee, that they dont want to have asbury park be a place of that kind of fun anymore. they would rather it be a year round community. why change it now, i think it should be what it was before. if you dont liek it, then dont live here. anyone who lived in the old asbury park, or even the tail end of its "glory days" knew what it was like. they were there then, so they must have liked it. when people say, make it a year round community. isnt that what the rest of the city (the other streets) is?? in comparission, those few blocks by the beach, are nothing comparaed to how big the rest of the city is (residential wise). so if you dont like that "party atmosphere" dont enter those blocks near the boardwalk. you may say, "i dont want to live in a place like that". dont live here then. if you moved here recently, beasue you thought AP was a quite residential town, you were wrong. its not.
