The sound is now up from our March 2004 show, where Dr. Russ Holstein broke the news of his research into deceptive practices on the part of mental health insurance providers. Dr. Holstein's research reveals the truth behind the long lists of mental health providers that insurance networks give patients. He found that some doctors haven't taken new patients in years, while others aren't even alive let alone practicing.
The lack of access to mental health care has figured in domestic violence, abuse against women and other human misery. Therefore, this important topic affects employers, friends, teachers, parents, spouses, children and anyone who relies on the behavior of those suffering with a mental illness. Please tell your friends to tune it in.
