You aren't right about the beach North of the Casino.  It wasn't 
a "segregated beach" for blacks in the 1970's.  It was 
thier "preferred" beach by then. Much like the gays had their own 
preferred spot in Belmar.

Many years ago, just post the Bradely age, there was a segregated 
beach.  No way Jordan was old enough to have seen it.

Later in the 1940's, 1950's, etc., Blacks may have been "buffaloed" 
onto first Avenue.  By the 1970's? No way.  I was there. I worked on 
the beach for 2 seasons in the 70's. There was Blacks on every beach 
by then.  By that time 1st Avenue was where they gathered socially.

Do you really think that post-1964 Civil Rights Act that there was 
government segregation of Asbury's Beach? Rediculous! Jordan knows 
there wasn't.  He was exaggerating again.
