The council. they cheated us out of the uez funds,all in line for the
funds were black businesses and female owned businesses except for
michals. He got the funds, sonny got the funds too, but only as a token.
They knew he wouldn't last after they set up other eateries on the same
street. They blackballed or shall i say whiteballed him. But after those
two got the funds, they shut the program down and decided they wanted to
restructure the program, so that the blacks couldn't get any of the funds.
They even gave the swicthplate factory a grant for the money and a
relocation grant. But the people here that had been here could get
anything. They did give us a $5000 shut fee. Told us to take it or leave
it. Do what you want to do with it
