Tom, are you denying what you said to me outside after that city
council meeting which was before the posts you refer to? I do not
deny you later posted as you say, but that is my exact point, you
shifted position. But let's say the latter position is what you
believe, I am even more alarmed. You either don't see the
impropriety, or you see it and say forget about it. I fully realize
that fater saying what you did after that meeting that you have been
trying to minimize and trivialize the issues, including tring to get
me bogged down in semantics of "plan" vs "amendment."

All I can say is if you want to have people govern you in this
manner, fine, but I don't. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me
twice, shame on me.

The city could have prevented all of this, and could have in fact
stopped it once it took those first missteps. I offer a negotiated
settlement:

1) Admit the plan doesn't permit rebuilding of C-8
2) Get something of value in return for allowing the Esperanza
3) Fire Aaron
4) Loffredo resigns
5) Get something of real value for the Triangle
6) Asbury Partners has a financially-backed (letters of
credit/performance bonds) plan to rehabiliatate the Casino, CH and
pavillions within 6 months (for the plan and backing) otherwise they
hand over these assets.

Finally, I don't think I said you agree with me. What I said was
initially you voiced concern at what the city did as well and later
changed. You're backing the wrong horse and your horse will be out
of the money as they say. There is no longer room in AP for this
kind of nonsense.
