I'm sitting here wondering who amoung us has given Marueen more
credit than I have. She's the goods and I've been in her corner for
years.

Point taken. Thanks Dan.

This one is difficult, and I need a rules clarification about this
board. I tried an experiment here for serveral months. I refused
to reply to anything Skip wrote. In that time, he wrote something
bad about me dozens of times (go check the prior posts if you don't
believe me). I never said a word. MORE IMPORTANTLY, none of you
said a word either. Dozens of posts of his with some insult
involving a derivation of the name "BlueBishop." I stayed silent,
and no one posted to Skip saying enough already.

So this weekend I responded to him - 1st time in months. What
happened? Several posts appeared from people telling me to stop.

Please explain to me why it works that way? Why is it you watch him
insult me for months, yet one reply and I'm the problem?

Well I'm embarking on another few months of ignoring him. If you see
him refer to me, I hope you will take him to task for doing so with
as much vigor as you did me for responding to him just once.

I think the '69 Mets might have something to say about that.

By the way did I support the Partners in 2001 when I asked the City,
quite publicly, not to sign the agreement without the MD Sass group
of companies obligating themselves on the Contract? Did I support
the Partners when I alone stood before the council a few weeks ago
and demanded a default? DId I support them when I requested that
they knock down the whole Casino and build somehting truly marvelous
there, which they and the City rejected (I still want that). Did I
support the Partners or the City when Werner brought to my attention
how ugly the lights were? Didn't I sign onto the "Werner Plan" to
amend the redevelopment agreement (in fact, didn't I even name it
the Werner Plan?).

I see myself as one of the few people in town that doesn't look at
the redevelopment plan as have to "pick a team" (usully meaning pro
or con Fishman). I evaluate every issue separately for the good of
AP, and I don't care what "team" the issue lands me on.

By the way I've always supported the concept of the plan, no matter
who is doing the work. Still do. Go condos.

Once past the issue of this breach, I'll still have all the best
wishes for Asbury Partners to finish this plan.

Another point well taken. We also don't need 2 barely used money-
losing Convention Centers on either end of the boardwalk (Convention
Hall and Casino). One barely used money losing Convention Center on
the boardwalk will suffice just nicely.
