Interesting conversation with Rich DiPietro about The Fishman's failed
attempt to become designated developers in Paterson, NJ, they
apparently made political contributions to the mayor's re-election
campaign, shortly thereafter their other development lawyer, Alfred L.
Faiella, attempted to slip in language enabling eminent domain.
The citizenry rebelled, pointed to the threat and Faiella began
backpedaling, claiming that the written agreement meant nothing, they
had no intention, blah, blah, blah. End result, Paterson sent the
Fishy ones swimming back to Asbury; their win our loss.
