JOSEPH J. D'ANDREA JR., 52, of ASBURY PARK, died Sunday, April 30, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was an entrepreneur in several business ventures. He was a communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, Asbury Park. He was a member of the board of directors of The Center, and the Jersey Shore Q-Spot, both Asbury Park. Mr. D'Andrea was born in White Plains, N.Y., and lived in Manhattan before moving to Asbury Park in 2001.
His mother, Mary Tracey D'Andrea, died in 1997. Surviving are his father, Joseph J. D'Andrea, Gainesville, Va.; two brothers, Thomas D'Andrea of Jersey City, and Richard D'Andrea of Farmingdale, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Lou Capri of Green Brook; and his lifetime companion, Will Elliott.
The Funeral Mass will be offered at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, from Trinity Episcopal Church, 503 Asbury Ave. at Grand Avenue, Asbury Park. There will be no visiting hours. Those wishing to remember him may make contributions in lieu of flowers to The Center, 1206 Main St., Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St. at Broadway, is in charge of the arrangements.
