BONAFIDE STAFF WRITER ASBURY PARK -- A male teen was found shot on Bangs Avenue, where he fled after being shot at Washington and Ridge avenues at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Sgt. Todd Wilson said. Police received a call that shots had been fired at Washington and Ridge avenues but did not find a victim there, Wilson said. The victim was found a short time later on Bangs Avenue with gunshot wounds in his hand and his leg, Wilson said.
