Off to Woodstock tomorrow to the "Midnight Ramble" at Levon Helmm Studios.
Never went, but we were invited. Music as Tourism. The only thing I
knew about Woodstock was some albums my older sister had with a couple
people skinny dipping in a mudhole.
So now I know who Levon Helm is, The Band, and some more about the
village of Woodstock.
Woodstock, how this little, middle of nowhere place has capitalized on
ONE moment in time, year-round.
