   Hi Tommy---If you want I can see if Pat has anything booked at The Wonder Bar that night in case The Berkeley is not available.  I would love to help out with this -- I think it is great for the kids to participate in sports programs.

Please keep Friday evening, January 12 open.

We are having a fundraiser for the Asbury Park PAL Boxing Program.

The venue will be announced soon (we're on hold with the Berkeley;
not sure if they can be opened by then so we might move the
fundraiser elsewhere).

The boxing program will start in February.

LOOKING FOR HELP - Academic Tutors:

Participation in the program requires the students to do well in
school. If their grades are slipping, we don't just cut them
loose. They still come to the gym, but instead of training they
meet with an academic tutor until their grades rise. As a reward
they get to train again.

If anyone is interested in volunteering as an academic tutor, please
call me.
