Thanks for replying. In the last thing you mentioned, code enforcement...is it just me, or does Asbury go very light on this? And what kinds of codes aren't they enforcing? I know it sounds nitpicky, but one of my pet peeves is litter and garbage. There are some areas in AP, both in the ocean front area and elseware that are just plain a mess. Is that problem that APs code enforcers don't have the aesthetic sense to see the mess? Take those mostly abandoned bungalows on the corner of 1st and Kingsly. Horrible. The porches of the abandoned ones are filled with trash. A few of them, even though boarded up provide shelter to any number of "activities". Just a few days ago, I saw what looked like a tranny prostitute emerging from the porch of one of the abandoned ones. Why do those buildings still exist? Sure, they are boarded up, but they look depressing. Then there's the apt. building near the corner of Kingsly and 2nd. There is definitely drug dealing activity going on there, and i've seen the cops there a number of times. Wouldn't this be a good idea to install some video surveillence cameras in know crime areas, and make a big deal of it? I know this takes money. Surely this would be an investment in Asbury's future.
