Mario,
I have no clue that this event occurred. The only City official I
see, is Hazel, but she is the Community Affairs person. Don't know
either of the 2 others. What does it cost in PR dollars to have such
an event? Not much, if it keeps the natives from being restless.
Question:
Why aren't there any Business Owners, Gay people, other races there?
Seems peculiar, that when you have such a diverse population, as we
have that they are conspicuously absent! I believe in "inclusion" of
ALL residents! Seems as though Fish knew, he had to do something.
2005...that was over a year ago.  Nothing since.  Makes me wonder;
doean't it make you wonder? Where are the City Leaders? Why weren't
THEY, included? I am very suspicious of strangers, bearing gifts.
Looks like a ruse to me.

Answering another poster:
Terry Weldon, seemed like a man on top of the world, according to the
pensions, he was collecting, nice wife, family, home, etc. He had the
respect of many in this town and Ocean Twp. and he seemed to be living
a perfect life. When you brush elbows, with the rich and famous, what
he already had, may not have been enough. He knew people, who owned
mansions, yachts, airplanes, summer homes, more than 1 residence; you
know, the rich and famous-types. He probably had dreams of grandeur,
far beyond his reach and felt "entitled", to be where those folks are!

Greed? You bet! Seems we are never satisfied with our lot in life.
This leads to where he is, now. Sad. Like I said, I didn't know him,
personally, but he seemed like an awfully nice, person. Probably
still is, but, such is life. I don't think he'll ever see the inside
of a jail, due to his health.
