Tommie, That really sounds like the typical 'anything is better than
nothing' evaluation. It looks great ???

What about it 'looks great'? What does that mean to you?

Some things to ponder:

Does it compliment or contradict the existing historic assets?
Does it encroach upon reparian lands?
Will it suvive the climate?
Is it appropriate to the historic district?
Can this be built on public property?
Where did the boardwalk go?
How does it build upon AP's unique character?
How will this benefit all of AP?
Will this be a 'high-end' strip mall?
Does it violate the federal standards for National Register sites?
Does this violate the CAFRA permit?
Does it make economic and public policy sense for Asbury Park?

Is this the best thing to do for Asbury Park and its residents
or
Is this whats best for the developers?
