Tommy, Pallone showed up.

"In 20 years, I've never been to a Martin Luther King event quite
like tonight," said Rep. Frank J. Pallone Jr., D-N.J., who said he
would work on getting federal help to get recreation programs back
running at West Side Community Center and to address gun violence.

When Pallone spoke of the importance of people coming out of jail
being able to find a job, a roar went up in the crowd showing that he
had connected with possibly the biggest underlying problem — the
inability for many to get jobs often because of their education.

The Triad better watch out:

Nunn followed Moore, saying: "In two years (the next City Council
election), we're going to get the right men in office and if they
don't do what we ask, we're going to take them out."

"There are enough people in this room tonight to change the structure
of Asbury Park, so let's be united; let us keep home alive," Augustin
said.
